Exhibition ‘ROUNDABOUT’

For this exhibition in Berlin eleven artists have been brought together, that all work with the tradition of abstraction. It is an international group of artists that also emphasizes Danish artists in particular. Paintings, sculptural objects, wall paintings and a light installation make up the range of media represented, though it is true to say all the artists use the language of painting.

Four of the artists has made works specifically for the exhibition space. Ruth Campau has made a wall and floor based sculpture, Karina Peisajovich uses projected light, shadow and paint in her installation and both Jan Van der Ploeg and Terry Haggerty have made large scale wall paintings.

‘ROUNDABOUT’ is curated by David Rhodes and Malene Landgreen.

The Contemporary Exhibition Space is made available by Tækker Group, both the building itself and its convertion into exhibition space and also economic support was given from MONTANA and The Danish Art Agency.
